Montauroux International Guitar Festival

It is an annual event that takes place in early August every year. Since its inception in 2000, the Guitar Festival has enjoyed growing success and has become an unmissable summer event.

In order to meet the growing popularity of the festival among both locals and tourists, the program was gradually expanded to cover three to four days. The line-up celebrates guitar music in all its forms, including classical, jazz, pop and rock. The venues range from the historic Chapel of St. Bartholomew to the central Place du Clos, which houses the main stage for the evening acts and headliners.

Most importantly, all venues offer free entry to all concerts. Given the high quality and diversity of the musical groups selected, it is no surprise that the Guitar Festival has become one of the highlights of the Var summer program.

Travel

From 6:00 pm to 6:00 pm there is a free shuttle from Montauroux College to the village every 15 minutes. to 8:30 pm and the return from Montauroux on a similar frequency from 11:30 pm until 12:45 pm In both directions the shuttle also stops at the Camping des Floralies.
